ROCK & ROLL - SOUL - DOO WOP - RHYTHM & BLUES

Doycheff Vocal Jam is an original and innovative concept. It's a dance party, an oldies show and a showcase of central Ohio's most talented singers and performers. Founded in 1997 by Jimmy and Elaine Doycheff, the Vocal Jam troupe presents the greatest dance hits of the 1950's & 60's. We cover such styles as rock & roll, soul, doo wop and rhythm & blues. Enjoy performances by The Jam Girls, Hilltop USA, BigHead Richards, Alexis Richards, Dave Harris and Jim Harris. And introducing... Raquelle Pope.

After opening for the Beach Boys and Creedance Clearwater at a 1999 outdoor concert for 13,000 screaming fans, the Vocal Jam went on to produce their own shows at the iconic Valley Dale, Vets Memorial, Hyatt Regency, Alladdin Shrine Center and Makoy Center, their home for the last nine years. The Doycheff Vocal Jam presents three hours of continuous music. The jitterbug, swing, cha cha, line dances and slow jams will keep you on the dance floor. The spirit of American Bandstand and Soul Train lives on. Our inspiration was drawn from the 1950's rock & roll shows at New York's Paramount Theater and the Motown bus tours of the 1960's. We never spoof or parody this great music. We present these golden oldies with respect, reverence and authenticity.

Join us...and keep our music alive.

                                                A PERSONAL NOTE

We love our new home at Bridgewater Banquet Center in Powell. The past year has been wonderful. The venue is beautiful and the management treats us great. We have made changes to the table arrangement. The dance floor has been enlarged and moved back away from the stage. Tables have been placed in front of the stage. Now, every table in the room has a great view of the performers. Whether you are dancers or watchers, we want you to have a great time at the party
